I enjoyed a wonderful evening at a local Derby party (graciously hosted by a high school best friend's folks). As always, we pulled up our sleeves, put on our best "sippa" faces, and bellied up to the Mint Julep bar. We put up a noble fight, but alas, ended up crying uncle and resorted to beers at Bob's. It was wonderful to see my old buddies-looking forward to the upcoming reunion later in the summer!I believe I'll have to jump into the Triple Crown spirit and host a Belmont Stakes party..mark your calendars for June 10th!
